Four days to make an impression. Billions of them, as it turned out.

Public Relations
When the awareness window is short, earned media can make every day count.
With the MLB All-Star Game bringing baseball fans to Seattle, Major League Baseball needed to quickly build local awareness for its four-day Play Ball Park fan festival. GreenRubino used local media relations, advance interviews, press materials, and an experiential media preview to giveTV and radio outlets stories they could tell before the event opened, helping Play Ball Park reach Seattle-area audiences at scale.
The Opportunity
The MLB All-Star Game was coming to Seattle. And with it, Play Ball Park, a four-day interactive fan festival celebrating everything baseball.
But a great event only works if people know it's happening. MLB brought GreenRubino in late in the game to help make sure they did.
The Strategy
With little time to build awareness we moved fast to get the right stories in front of the right local audiences.
That meant turning Play Ball Park from an event to promote into something Seattle media, and Seattle baseball fans, wanted to talk about.
The Solution
We worked with local TV and radio, securing advance interviews with MLB spokespeople and creating opportunities for media to experience the event before it opened.
Behind the scenes, we developed the briefs, press releases, and other materials needed to keep the story moving across the market.
Four days of baseball. A whole lot of attention.
